Clemson Bryan Mall Renovation Breaks Ground
Juneau Construction Company has officially broken ground on Clemson’s Bryan Mall High Rise Renovations. Scheduled to span across several years, this project includes the renovation of three high rises on Clemson University’s campus.
“One responsibility of the Clemson Home team is to be continuously planning and future visioning to ensure that we are taking action to meet our key goals and ensuring all Clemson’s newest Tigers get a solid start and connection to the community,” said Kathy Bush Hobgood, the Clemson University associate vice president for auxiliary enterprises.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be on campus at Clemson, and looking forward to the opportunity to transform the Bryan Mall dormitories. Any time we get to impact a college campus it’s special, but it’s especially exciting to take buildings with such a rich history and help to extend that history for many years to come,” said Walker Mills, Vice President of Operations at Juneau Construction Company
This multi-phase project will refresh Clemson’s on-campus student housing experience. The first phase, Byrnes Hall, includes 110,000 SF of dorm-style student housing 432 beds across 216 units. The renovation will incorporate the current façade’s shell and skin and integrate a new exterior stair at the building corner.
