Winthrop University New Residence Hall
Rock Hill, SC
The new residence hall at Winthrop University will bring 400 beds of student housing to the campus in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Located along Cherry Road, the four-story, approximately 100,000-square-foot community is designed to support the university’s growing enrollment and expanding academic offerings, while enhancing the on-campus living experience.
The residence hall includes thoughtfully designed living spaces that foster connection, engagement, and student success. The project represents a significant investment in Winthrop’s future, creating a welcoming residential environment that strengthens campus life and supports the university’s long-term growth.
The project is being led by Juneau Construction Company, an Atlanta-based firm. Juneau will oversee the full design and construction process in partnership with BOUDREAUX, an architecture and planning firm with offices in Columbia and Charlotte. Juneau and BOUDREAUX bring relevant experience to the project, having collaborated on residence halls at South Carolina’s two largest universities—Clemson University and the University of South Carolina.
